God of Malice
Legacy of Gods Book 1

Star Rating ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Once I got past the first few chapters I wasn’t able to put the book down. The beginning was slow but very important for the book. Though I feel I should have started with these books first as kind of a first generation Lies and Truths Duet, Cruel King, and Kingdom Duet. I will be reading them before starting book 2 in this series.
Glyndon starts off shy, and very empathic to those around her. I think we can all relate to her somewhat when we feel alone and unseen in big families. Her growth as a character through the book makes her more real. Her heartbreak makes yours break with hers.
Killian aka Killer is your typical morally gray main character until you get to know him. He has a soft spot for the women in his lives, he lives with things that that he heard as a kid that helped shape him who he is today.
Killian gives Glyndon the strength to stand up for herself, do things out of her comfort zone and build her confidence. While she quiets his demons and helps fix things of the past for him. To me they give a Joker and Harley Quinn vibe of the mad love trope. I definitely did not see the plot twist that happens. I can’t wait to dive deeper into this series this year.
