This was my first C.L. Rose book. I was interested in this book being a football romance and the team was from Boston. I have now added her catalog to my tbr. I am a sucker for a good second chance romance. I loved the approach that was taken with this story.

Most second chance romances are about couples that break up or something along those lines. But in this story they are childhood summer friends. Who loses contact at 12. Being young they thought they would have the next summer. A tragedy strikes before that next summer. This leaves them wondering about their lives.

A surprise chance encounter changes their lives, I love that they were able to pick up their friendship and grow it. I think the other WAGS were some of my favorite side characters. I hope there is more to Bailey and Jett.
